Scam Alert: Fake “Latitude Protect” Messages

We've received reports of text messages pretending to be from Latitude and subscription-based services. These messages may show a sender name of ‘Latitude’ and may ask you to click on a link to dispute a transaction or to indicate the transaction wasn't authorised. Latitude will never ask you to click a link for this purpose. If you receive a message of this kind, please delete this.

Scammers may also call impersonating Latitude to gain access to card details and One-Time Passwords to confirm transactions which results in fraudulent transactions. If you are unsure of the legitimacy of these texts or calls, contact the subscription service via their official channels of communication, not the link provided.

We’ve been made aware of scam text messages claiming to be from “Latitude Protect” and referencing a purchase at a merchant. These messages ask you to reply with ‘N’ if the purchase wasn’t yours. They then contact you and phish for One-Time Passwords.

  • These messages are not from Latitude Financial Services.

  • LATITUDE PROTECT is not a brand affiliated to Latitude Financial Services.

Do not respond or click any links. Delete the message immediately.

If you’re concerned about your account, contact us directly through our official channels or the phone number on the back of your card.
