Paul Byrne

Paul was appointed Executive General Manager, Money in May 2023.

Prior to that, he was General Manager, Commercial for Latitude's Money division and was co-founder and COO of Symple Loans which was acquired by Latitude in 2021.

Paul has more than 25 years' experience in retail banking and has held executive roles in major corporations including leading ANZ's Consumer Lending business in Singapore and Australia. He attended Deakin University graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts, and holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Applied Finance.

Paul is also a former Olympian and track and field champion, reaching the 800 metres semi-finals at the 1996 Olympic Games.
