Latitude GO offers six-months interest free in time for Christmas

10 December 2021

Latitude Financial today launched six-months interest free instalments on everyday transactions on the Latitude GO Mastercard® card.

Latitude GO customers can now shop globally anywhere Mastercard is accepted and combine any transaction over $250 into a six-month interest free plan, at no additional cost to the customer or merchant.

Customers can access the new feature on the Latitude app in a few simple steps.

The enhancement is part of Latitude’s Future of Interest Free program and builds on the existing, long-term interest free plans of up to 60 months on eligible purchases. It also brings Latitude GO in line with Latitude Gem which already offers six-months interest free on purchases above $250.

A range of additional features planned for the first half of 2022 will enable customers to shop anywhere and combine or stack any number of purchases over $250 into a 12, 18 or 24-month interest free plan with monthly instalments.

“The changes we are launching today make it simple for customers to use Latitude GO anywhere Mastercard is accepted globally and convert their Christmas shopping to six-months interest free plans and pay that down over six-months in ways that suit them,’ said Latitude’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Varro.

“It takes only a few easy steps on the Latitude app and once approved customers can choose to stack any number of purchases over $250 into the six-months interest free instalments plan.”

Today’s announcement is part of a suite of enhancements Latitude is making to Latitude GO and Latitude Gem as part of its Future of Interest Free program which also includes digital shopping offers and retail discounts tailored to customers.

Latitude is a leading payments and lending business with more than 2.8 million customer accounts and 5,500 retail partners across Australia and New Zealand.
