Latitude will never ask you to click a link for this purpose. If you receive a message of this kind, please delete this.\n</p>\n<p>\nScammers may also call impersonating Latitude to gain access to card details and One-Time Passwords to confirm transactions which results in fraudulent transactions. They may say your account is frozen and ask you to call a number. <b>Do NOT share OTPs</b> or personal details. Our official number is +61 1300 305 884. Alternatively, you can contact the number listed on the back of your physical Latitude card or use the number listed on this website.</p>\n<br />\nExample of a <b>fake</b> Latitude text:\n<p><img src=\"../scams-hub/images/scam-alert-image-5.webp\" alt=\"Scam Alert 1\"></p>\n<p>These messages contain a <b>fraudulent number</b> where you will be asked to provide an OTP. <b>Do not contact this number</b> and <b>do not share any information</b> if prompted.\nBeware as these text messages usually call for an immediate call for action to ‘secure’ your account, when in reality, it is used to compormise your details.</p>\n<h2>Scam Alert – Fake “Latitude Protect” Messages</h2>\n<p>We’ve been made aware of scam text messages claiming to be from “Latitude Protect” and referencing a purchase at a merchant. These messages ask you to reply with ‘N’ if the purchase wasn’t yours. They then contact you and phish for One-Time Passwords.</p>\n<ul>\n    <li>\n        <p>These messages are <b>not from</b> Latitude Financial Services.</p>\n    </li> \n    <li>\n        <p><b>LATITUDE PROTECT</b> is not a brand affiliated to Latitude Financial Services.<p>\n    </li>\n    <p>Do not respond or click any links. Reference the number you are provider with the number from their genuine communications.</p>\n    </li>\n    <li>\n        <p><b>Rule of thumb:</b> If you receive a <b>link</b> or <b>phone number</b> prompting <b>urgency, delete</b> and <b>do not follow the instructions.</b> Instead, call the company using their official website or product (eg.
