2. Availability of the Latitude Insurance Portal
2.1 The Latitude Insurance Portal is free to use however your internet or network provider charges you for accessing the internet or data.
2.2 We may change, replace or withdraw the Latitude Insurance Portal at any time without prior notice.
2.3 Services offered through the Latitude Insurance Portal may not be available at all times.
2.4 The Latitude Insurance Portal may be unavailable due to scheduled outages or due to factors beyond our control, such as your internet connection.
2.5 The availability and performance of the Latitude Insurance Portal may vary depending on your device, internet or network provider, browser or browser settings/extensions (e.g. pop-up blockers, script blockers, cookie settings, etc.).

means your email address used to register for a Latitude Insurance Portal account.
means a credit contract with Latitude Personal Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 54 008 443 810) Australian Credit Licence 392163.
means an insurance contract issued to you by:
where the governing law of the contract is a State or Territory of Australia.
means a Policy of consumer credit insurance called Repayment Protection.
means the functionality and content of the Latitude Insurance Portal.
means the short message service protocol facilitated by telecommunications providers.
We, us, our
means Hallmark General and Hallmark Life.
5. Initial access to the Latitude Insurance Portal
5.1 To access the Latitude Insurance Portal to obtain a quote for Repayment Protection, you will need to have a unique link emailed to you by us.
Note: The email address used to send you the unique link needs to be the same email address provided when you applied for your Personal Loan.
5.2 Access to the Latitude Insurance Portal for your Policies is done as part of the application process to purchase Repayment Protection:
b) we will send you a single use SMS code to the mobile number provided when you applied for your Personal Loan.
Note: The email address used for your Login ID can be changed after the application is accepted, see clause 7.
6. Accessing the Latitude Insurance Portal
6.1 Each time you access the Latitude Insurance Portal we will send you a single use SMS code to the mobile number provided for your Policy to authenticate and permit your access.
6.2 You agree that any person who supplies us with your Login ID and the single use SMS code in clause 6.1 will be allowed access to your Latitude Insurance Portal account.
7. Updating your details
7.1 You must notify us promptly if your email address changes.
Note: Your email address must meet the security requirements in clause 12.
7.2 You must also notify us promptly if your mobile phone number changes.
Note: It is important we have your correct mobile phone number as we use this number to authenticate and permit access to the Latitude Insurance Portal and failures may restrict access for up to 24 hours.
8. What can be done using the Latitude Insurance Portal
8.1 If you have not purchased Repayment Protection, the Services available in the Latitude Insurance Portal are limited to obtaining a quote and completing an application for Repayment Protection.
8.2 If you have Repayment Protection, the following Services are available in the Latitude Insurance Portal:
b) viewing electronic communications (for example, renewal notices);
c) viewing information about your Policy (for example, premium payments);
d) notifying us of a claim including uploading claim forms and evidence;
e) updating your contact details (for example, your mobile phone number); and
f) cancelling your Policy.
8.3 Information about your Policy obtained from the Latitude Insurance Portal will reflect the current status of your Policy on our systems at the time you access the service.
Note: This information may not include transactions which are yet to be processed and may be corrected (for example, if a premium payment has dishonoured/reversed).
8.4 We may add, change or remove any Services available in the Latitude Insurance Portal at any time without prior notice to you.
9. Appropriate use of the Latitude Insurance Portal
9.1 Your use of the Latitude Insurance Portal is limited solely to accessing and using the Services listed in clause 8.
9.2 Your use of the Latitude Insurance Portal must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in force from time to time.
9.3 You must not:
b) use the Latitude Insurance Portal to upload any harmful or destructive files (for example, viruses, corrupted files, malware, etc.); or
c) use the Latitude Insurance Portal to share, upload, advocate or encourage any content, material, imagery or activity that is inappropriate (for example, content or activities that are illegal, violent, hateful, discriminatory, harassing or bullying, contain nudity or sexually explicit material, etc.).
10. Limitation of liability
10.1 Your access to and use of the Latitude Insurance Portal is at your own risk.
10.2 Except in the instance of statutory warranties that cannot be excluded, we make no warranties or representations as to the accessibility, security, stability or reliability of the Latitude Insurance Portal, and we specifically disclaim any liability or responsibility for any faults, failures or interruptions or the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, security or reliability of any communications made using the Latitude Insurance Portal.
11. Suspension or termination
11.1 We may suspend or terminate your right to access the Latitude Insurance Portal at any time, without prior notice and with immediate effect. Reasons for suspending or terminating your right to access may include:
b) if the service is being misused or used inappropriately by you or another person acting on your behalf;
c) if we believe the Login ID is being misused or is likely to be misused;
d) for reasons of security or quality of the Latitude Insurance Portal;
f) to prevent loss to you or us;
g) if we believe you gave us false or misleading information to take out your Policy or gain access to the Latitude Insurance Portal;
h) if we believe that your account or your right to access the services has been or is being used to further a crime; or
i) if your Policy is cancelled or expired.
12.1 Any act contrary to these security requirements may mean you are liable for losses caused by a breach of the security of the Login ID or single use SMS code.
12.2 You must inform us immediately if your Login ID has been misused, lost or stolen by calling us on 1800 800 230. This includes if your mobile phone or mobile phone number has been misused, lost or stolen.
Note: We must be given all the information that you have or can reasonably obtain regarding the loss, theft or unauthorised use.
12.3 You must not:
b) write or record your Login ID on anything carried with your mobile phone, or liable to be lost or stolen simultaneously, without making a reasonable attempt to protect the security of the information.
12.4 You agree you will:
b) only install approved applications on your mobile phone or tablet device, and do not install programs or mechanisms on your device, computer, mobile phone or tablet capable of recording your access details or your activity in the Latitude Insurance Portal;
c) not access the Latitude Insurance Portal from devices, computers, mobile phones or tablets you are not familiar with and avoid accessing the Latitude Insurance Portal from free or public Wi-Fi; and
d) not override the software lockdown on your device, computer, mobile phone or tablet device (for example, by jailbreaking, rooting, etc.).
12.5 You should only use a personal and private email address that you have sole access to for your Login ID. The email address should not be tied to an employer or be subject to moving out of your control.
13.2 Changes may include (but are not limited to):
b) increasing your liability for losses related to transactions using the Latitude Insurance Portal.
c) imposing, removing or adjusting a daily or other periodic transaction limit applicable to the use of the Latitude Insurance Portal.
13.3 We will give you notice of changes in accordance with clause 14.
14. Method of giving notice
b) by making the notice or other document available via the Latitude Insurance Portal for retrieval by you when you next access the Latitude Insurance Portal and sending you notification that it is available; or
c) by notice within the Latitude Insurance Portal that is displayed when you next access the Latitude Insurance Portal; or
d) by any other method provided for in the terms and conditions applying to your Policy.
14.2 If we send you an email, the email is deemed to have been given once it enters your information system.
14.3 The current terms will be available for you to view online at www.latitudefinancial.com.au/insurance/loan-repayment-protection/portal-terms-and-conditions/.
15. Privacy and confidentiality
15.1 To evaluate the effectiveness of the Latitude Insurance Portal, we may collect statistical data on access and usage (e.g. browser, dates used, session duration, crashes/errors, carrier, volumes and types of content stored, downloaded or used, account activity, patterns and frequency of use, usage location, network configurations, etc.).
15.3 This should be read in conjunction with the privacy disclosures we gave you for your Policy.
16. Governing law
