Get to know the covers
Like most insurance policies there are some conditions, limits and exclusions. We have summarised some of the key features, conditions and exclusions below. See the PDS for full details.
Job Loss
Covers the risk of unexpected 'job loss' lasting at least 14 days.
Illness and Injury cover
Covers the risk you can't work due to 'illness' or 'injury' for at least 14 days.
Life cover
Covers the risk of you dying or being diagnosed with a 'terminal illness'.
Eligibility
You can apply for Repayment Protection if you:- have taken out an eligible Latitude Personal Loan,
- are a resident of Australia currently living in Australia, and
- are aged 18 to 64 years old when you apply.
- you won't be offered Job Loss or Illness and Injury if you are not working as an employee, and
- you won't be offered Life if you have told us you are under 25 and have no dependents.
Things to consider
Term & RenewalThe policy has an initial term of up to 12 months. Unless we notify you that we are not offering renewal, or you tell us you don't want to renew, we'll automatically renew your Policy on its expiry for up to 12 months – provided you're still eligible for cover.
Cooling off periodIf you change your mind and cancel in the first 30 days of the policy, we'll refund any premium you've already paid, unless you’ve made a claim.
Payment optionsYou can pay monthly by credit or debit card.

We can arrange for Language Loop, who are an independent interpreter service, to help you with your call to Latitude (subject to availability). Let us know if you would like to use an interpreter and we’ll arrange it at no cost to you.
