Shop and get cash-back credit with Gem Visa NZ

4 July 2022

Shopping with Gem Visa just got better for customers with the launch of cash-back credit with participating retailers, via the Visa Offers eXchange program.

Gem Visa is the first credit card in New Zealand to partner with Visa and its Visa Offers eXchange, a platform that has proven to be popular with customers and retailers alike overseas.

When a Gem Visa customer shops in-store or online and meets the qualifying criteria at a participating retailer, they'll receive the relevant cash-back credit directly to their account, within a few days.

Gem Visa is already popular with Kiwis for providing six months interest free for purchases that are $250 or more, and longer-term interest free options.

"This new program means Gem can deliver further value to Gem Visa customers by giving them cash-back credit for their everyday shopping purchases with participating retailers. For our retail network, the platform offers them an easy and direct way to reward customers for shopping with them, driving value and supporting loyalty", says David Gelbak, Latitude's Executive General Manager Group Development.

"We know today's customers want fast, seamless rewards when they shop, whether that's in-store or online. Visa Offers eXchange enhances the everyday digital shopping experience for cardholders, building customer loyalty and driving growth for retailers, and we're excited to bring this to Kiwis for the first time with Gem Visa," said Riaz Nasrabadi, Visa's head of products and solutions for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific.

Well-known brands such as Menulog, THE ICONIC, Adore Beauty and Novo Shoes have jumped on board for launch.
