Latitude partners with Way Forward to support customers experiencing financial difficulty

Latitude Financial has partnered with not-for-profit Way Forward Debt Solutions (Way Forward) to help customers experiencing hardship get back on track with their finances.

This partnership complements Latitude’s existing financial assistance program and will benefit customers that have payment challenges with multiple financial firms. Latitude customers will benefit from only having to discuss their situation once with Way Forward who will help provide a holistic solution to address their long-term financial difficulty.

Way Forward is a registered charity providing free debt management services to assist people in financial difficulty. It is an Australian Banking Association supported initiative, funded by donations from Australia’s four major banks and other lenders.

Tracy Glen, Head of Customer Assist and Fraud Operations at Latitude said, “Latitude’s partnership with Way Forward is an important part of our commitment to be a safe, trusted and responsible lender. It will enable Latitude to further support customers in financial difficulty by referring them to a partner who can provide immediate and tailored assistance for creditor repayments, without deducting fees for their service. Customers will be supported by one organisation to establish affordable repayment arrangements.”
